How does a ski tuning fundraiser raise money?
You set a give-back amount per tune, typically $10 to $15. It is added on top of the tune price, collected by us, and remitted to your organization after the event. 40 tunes at $15 is $600; 150 tunes is $2,250.
What does the school or nonprofit have to do?
Promote the date to your community. We handle equipment, techs, check-in, and payment. Most organizations announce it in two newsletters and a banner at pickup and hit their tune count.
Is this better than a typical fundraiser?
Families get real value: a professional tune they would pay retail for anyway, without driving to a shop. That converts far better than candy bars or wrapping paper, and it works every season.
When should we schedule it?
Early season (October to December) books fastest because everyone's gear needs a pre-season tune. A mid-season wax day in January or February also performs well.
